FACT OR FICTION GENDER TESTS

Chinese Lunar Calendar

Chinese Lunar Calendar

This takes the month of conception, your age at time of birth and gives you the prediction of gender.
For me mine is May, & age 28 - So mine came up Girl!

Baking Soda Gender Test

baking soda

You put baking soda in a cup and pee on it. If it fizzes, it's supposedly a boy and if it doesn't, the baby is supposedly a girl.

This test came up BOY! My Pee Fizzled! I even made my sister do it and hers came back with no fizzle!

Red Cabbage Gender Test

The Test

  1. Buy a red cabbage (don't substitute green cabbage -- it won't work). Size isn't important unless you love cooked cabbage. In that case get a huge one!
  2. Cut the cabbage into small chunks.
  3. Boil some water. Then add it to cover the cabbage chunks. Let sit for at least ten minutes.
  4. Drain the cabbage and KEEP THE WATER! The water should be blueish in color.
  5. Set aside the cabbage for lunch. I suggest stir fry or stew.
  6. Pee in a cup! Grab a cup and head to the bathroom. If you're a little squeamish, you may want to use disposable cups.
  7. Set up the test. In a separate cup mix 1 part urine with 1 part cabbage water.
  8. Read the test!
    • If the urine/water turns pink/red its a boy!
    • If it turns purple its a girl!

The Cabbage Water and pee turned a pinkish /red.  Well folks this test came up BOY too!

Pencil Gender Test

Instructions

Things You'll Need

  • Unsharpened, number two lead pencil
  • Sewing needle
  • Sewing thread

    • 1
Sharpen the number two lead pencil. Make sure that it is sharp so you can observe any movement.
    • 2
Thread a piece of sewing thread though the needle. The size of the thread is not important, just so it is long enough to dangle the pencil over your wrist.
    • 3
Stick the tip of the needle into the top of the pencil eraser. The needle should be stuck in enough so that when you hold the pencil by the thread, it will not fall out. The sharpened point of the pencil should be facing downward.
    • 4

Place your hand on a hard, sturdy surface with your palm up. Ensure you are away from any wind or breeze.
    • 5
Pick up the pencil by the string and dangle it so the tip of the pencil is touching your wrist, making sure that your hand is very still.
    • 6
Observe the pencil, as it should begin to move. If the pencil moves up and down the length of your arm, you will have a boy. If the pencil moves side to side, you will have a girl.

I have not done the pencil test, but plan on doing it soon! Especially before my Ultrasound!
IntelliGender Test

Boy or Girl
Our urine-based test is easy to perform in the privacy of your home, with results ready in minutes!
- Pretty Much you pee in a cup and it tells you the gender.. Well folks I will not be paying $30 for this freaking test!!! I'm not wasting money!!!

Family Predictions
I think Boy Just because I have a supply of girl clothes from newborn to 3T right now in the exact season for our upcoming arrival!
Jen says since she has saved everything of Melynns. Im sure to have a Boy!
J on the otherhand is dead set on a Boy!
My Mom also says BOY!
J's Mom thinks since I have been so sick its going to be a girl. With her previous pregnancies she ways always sick with girls ( This is not proven due to several miscarriages she experienced and only had one child, J)  and not sick while pregnant with J.
My Dad thinks Boy because My ultrasound vs Melynn's is Different. Baby Williams head is on the left and Melynn's was on the right! I told him he was nuts!!!!

All in all we will be happy with whatever god gives us! I hope he/ she is Healthy and thats all that matters!

So Folks Check back in September to see the Results if any of these test are accurate!
