*This is going to be a long long long post!
It was was Thursday June 8th. I was only a day late. I figured I wasn't pregnant just another false alarm. So after sitting at the house for about ten minutes I decided to go get a dollar test at Dollar General. Well I bought two, one for next time. I went home and took the test. Well the test line had a faint pink color. So I sat there for a minute and called Jen. Well she finally answered after 5 calls. I explained what I did and took a picture and sent it. So she said take the second one to see if it comes up the same. Well I chugged some water and took the second test it came up the same! She cried and I was in disbelief. We decided I would take a digital test on Friday. I tried texting J since he was at work Thursday night and he said I could just text him whatever it was. So I sent him a message saying We are having a baby and sent a picture of the two tests. Well after about ten minutes he finally answered back! He was in utter shock but excited! So on Friday the 9th I went to Wal-mart and got the digital test! In 30 seconds........it came back PREGNANT!
When it came to telling family & friends it was not planned very well. :)
I wanted to wait but J couldn't hold in the news! So we decided Saturday to start telling everyone. We bought some Worlds Greatest Grandpa & #1 Grandpa T- Shirts for My dad, John Everett & TD. I had a much better idea but he had to tell the news right then.
Saturday night we grilled out at the house. We tried dropping hints with Chris & Dusty and they finally sunk in that I was pregnant. Niki came over later and the boys were still dropping horrible hints so I just blurted out I was Pregnant. She screamed and gave me a hug! We also told Cayce & Braden that night! Cayce screamed and fell out of the chair! Later that night ......
We gave John Everett ( J's dad) his present on Saturday night. He about passed out opening his shirt! He is very excited to be a Grandad!
Sunday- We went to the Hospital to see TD & Momma T ( J's Mom & Step Dad) in Jackson. When we got there Teresa was already at home. So we gave TD his Card & Present. It took him a minute but finally put two and two together to realize he was going to be a grandfather.
We rushed home to have lunch and tell Teresa. We sat down and she asked us if we had news to tell? She already pegged that we were pregnant! She even guessed the Due Date Month!
When it came to my Family, they were excited but were already expecting it! Most actually said about time!
We called My Mom, Step Mom, Grandparents and My Aunt to tell them on the phone . We went to my Dad's Sunday afternoon to tell him with his gift. He read it and was happy but again my family was expecting it! After 5 Grand kids a piece, I was the only one without kids!
We also announced it on Facebook! My phone blew up for days!!! It was so sweet to get all the congratulations and well wishes!
