3 Months Old

Sleep- You go to bed around 8 pm and do not wake up til about 4 or 5 am. Last saturday you slept from 10:45 - 7 am! Mommy was excited but still woke up to make sure your breathing.

Feed- Eating 4 ounces around every 2 hours. Now since you are on 5 ounces
you are sleeping a little longer

Length- 23 inches ( last month)

Diaper size- Size One

Clothes size- 0-3 months and some 3-6 months

Hair Color- Brownish Black with a hint of Auburn

Eye Color- a Brown/hazel

Favorite Toys- Bebe pod (bumbo seat), play mat, Sophie the giraffe, your hands

12 Weeks old

12th Week of life

12 weeks down a Lifetime to go........

Loves- Sophie the Giraffe and your hands. You chew on your hands all the time.

Eating - 5 ounces sometimes 7 ounces! We have a growing girl.

Sleeping- you usually got to bed around 8ish and wake up between 4-6 am

 take a bottle and return to sleep. I love this time because we get to snuggle.

Fun Facts- This we went to the Relay for Life in town! It was so hot!

 We even had a little battery operated fan on your stroller to keep you cool.

Mommy Moments-Excited because next Sunday we are doing your 3 month pictures 

and family pictures!! Cant wait!

Day 1 is Peace......

Peace to me is coming home and snuggling with Emory. I love our time when I first get home from work and talk about our day and start our evening routine.

I post this with a heavy heart today. I have been reading about Avery a little girl with SMA ( Spinal Muscular Atrophy). She has a rare genetic disease that attacks the muscles which causes inefficiency of the major bodily organs - especially of the respiratory system - and eventually leads to death. They made her a bucket list and accomplished several in her short life.  I  just saw her on the nightly news just last night, but after some complications she passed away yesterday. She was only 5.5 months old.

I have bawled all afternoon reading about this inspiring family going through a horrible situation. I love how her story is told as through Avery. Its adorable. It reminds me that tomorrow is never guaranteed. So tell your love ones you love them a few times extra a day.

Tonight I will snuggle a little longer with Emory today

11th week of Life

11 weeks down a Lifetime to go.....

Loves- Stretching out in the floor or the changing table. Being outside

Eating- you have been eating every 2 hours about 4 ounces. We have stepped it up to 5 ounces and your are sleeping longer and waiting longer for the next bottle. We are trying to regulate your feedings to every 3 hours.

Sleeping- Your sleeping habits have been awesome! You usually got to bed around 8 and sleep til about 5 am.

Fun Facts- Juju and Melynn came in for the weekend. We went shopping and hung out at the house!

Mommy Moments- 5k Race for Relay for Life. You were such a trooper in the cold weather!
